Roberta Marie Muzzarelli

Bobbie was born on July 30, 1935 in Central City, Kentucky, the daughter of Robert and Kathryn (Harper) Tyldesley. She married William “Bill” Muzzarelli on September 15, 1956 in Long Beach, California at St. Anthony Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2020. Also preceding her in death were her parents, sister Doella Hunter, brother Robert Tyldesley, and grandson Seth Muzzarelli.

She is survived by her four children, William and Lane (Danehower) Muzzarelli II, Sarah Muzzarelli (James Grebe), Guy Muzzarelli (Suzanne Hageman), John Muzzarelli, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Bobbie graduated from Canton High School and moved to Long Beach, California. While there she worked for the Wilma Hastings Finishing & Modeling School, and the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Wanting to be closer to family, she and her husband Bill moved back to Illinois in 1959. While raising her children, she worked at various department stores sharing her generous smile with customers and colleagues.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Peoria. Her tireless dedication to faith, family and friends was steadfast and unwavering. She will be greatly missed.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Peoria. The Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is handling services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the Southside Mission.
