Ronnie Dale Foiles

Born in Brown County, IL to Ernest and Norma (Bowman) Foiles; he married Carolyn Barnett on April 14, 1962 in Peoria County.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Foiles of Bartonville; children, Scott (Sharon) Foiles of Metamora, Brad (Leisa) Foiles of Bartonville, Mark Foiles of Galesburg, and Matt (Shannon) Foiles of Bartonville; grandchildren, Britney Foiles, Gabrielle Foiles, Kayla (Charles) Dubois, Beau Foiles, Mackenzie (Kody) Strong, Ryelee (Madi) Green, Sydney (Josh) Perez, Lakin Foiles, Matison Foiles; eleven great grandchildren, Tripp, Briggs, Palmer, Jett, Dexter, Ronni, Zayne, Watson, Raddox, Sophia and Harlow; and his sister, Connie (Stan) Rose.

Ronnie worked at the Pabst Brewing Company in Peoria Heights until it closed in 1982. He then worked for the Limestone School District for many years.

In retirement, he enjoyed living in Florida with Carolyn. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoyed sports of all kinds, and coached many teams.

Ronnie loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

The Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel has assisted the family with cremation arrangements. Private inurnment will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville. A Celebration of Ronnie’s Life will be held at the Bartonville American Legion on November 22 from 12-5 pm.
