Sandra Y. "Sandy" Wright

She was born on April 22, 1939 in Peoria to Harold H. and Ena M. (Hargis) Brackett. She married Ronald Wright Sr. on August 31, 1963 in Elmwood, IL. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2011 in Hanna City. Her parents and step father Ray Bailey who helped raise her, one son, Andrew Lee Wright and one brother, Byron Leon Brackett also preceded her in death.

Surviving are six children, Susan (Loydd Jr.) Thurman of Marquette Heights; Rhonda Wright of West Peoria; Ronald (Tricia) Wright Jr. of Bartonville; Helen Wright of West Peoria, Shelley (Santiago)Garcia of Marshfield, WI and Margery Wright of West Peoria. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Myron Wayne (Patricia) Brackett of Slidell, LA and Larry K. (Peggy) Brackett of Mill City, OR and one sister, Ketra A. Sheckler of Peoria.

Sandra worked as a Secretary and a CNA at various times butworked last as a Cook with the Peoria Area Blind Center. She was a member of the American Heritage Collectors Association.

A visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2013 from 5 to8 pm at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. A funeral Service will be on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with burial following the service at Smithville Cemetery in Smithville, IL. The Minister Keith Haunwill officiate.
