Thomas Walter Brill Sr.

Tom was born in Peoria on May 12, 1944 to parents Joseph and Cecilia (Hutt) Brill. Tom married the love of his life, Janet Mullineaux, on April 23, 1965. He worked for Caterpillar for 39 years, retiring in 2003.

Tom is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Janet, his sister Della (David) Bohm, and his three children Thomas Brill, Jr., Linda (Ken) McCann, and Kevin (Joella) Brill. Tom was a loving and devoted grandfather to Christina (Paul), Tommy, Taylor (Matt), Mark, and Brian. He was also a great-grandfather to Sammi.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings: Shirley Siebert, Ralph Brill, Robert Brill, Joseph Brill, Donna Flier, Carolyn Brill, Connie Rassi, and infant grandson Joseph Thomas.

Visitation will be at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at which time a service will begin. Burial will take place immediately following at Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Tom to OSF Heart Failure Clinic at OSF Foundation, 124 SW Adams St, Peoria, IL 61602.
