Timothy Franklin Evans, 52, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 18, 1965 in Peoria, Illinois to Gary R. Evans and Patricia (Howe) Borum. He married Debra Begner on September 26, 1998 in Peoria, Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are seven children, Elizabeth Brooks of Mackinaw, Illinois, Whitney Begner of Sugar Grove, Illinois, Gary Evans of Evansville, Indiana, Ryan Maddox of Bloomington, Illinois, Grace Evans, Jack Evans and Lilly Evans all of Bartonville, Illinois; four grandchildren, Aili Brooks, Bella Brooks, Franklin Brooks, Chase Sparks; his mother and step-father, Patricia (Jack) Borum of Bartonville, his father and step-mother, Gary (Peggy) Evans of Bartonville, one sister, Jill (Brian) Evans-Clausen of Bartonville, Illinois and two step-brothers, Greg (Nancy) Borum of Bartonville, Illinois and Jerry (Lesli) Borum of Lawton, Oklahoma. He has two nieces, Kealey (Justin) Cotelleso and Jamie Haley and great nephews and niece, Paxton, Jordan and Riley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Tim worked many years as a laborer out of Laborers Union #165 and for the last seven years as an inspector at Illinois Crane Company. He was an avid reader of Stephen King novels, enjoyed scary movies with his family. Tim was an avid Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinal fan. He loved spending time with his family.
