Todd Lee Mathus

He was born April 19, 1968 in Peoria to Robert L. and Pamela (Volz) Mathus.

Survivors include his mother of Peoria, one sister, Mindi Mathus of Bartonville, two brothers: Ty Mathus of Peoria, Chad Mathus of Missouri, six nieces and nephews: Nolan Browder, Remi Fulton, Evan Mathus, Talan Mathus, Ryland Mathus, Reid Mathus, two aunts, Judith Mathus, Deb Mathus, and one uncle, Ronald Mathus.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bernadette and Evan Mathus, Dorothy and Clayton Volz, his father, and one brother, Shane Mathus.

Todd first received his Bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan in Microbiology, then his Masters from Illinois State University, and was currently working on his Doctorate from Rutgers University.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family service will be at a later date. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
