Tracy Lee Bussell

Tracy Lee Bussell, 61, of Chillicothe, Illinois, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, at 1:35 a.m. at Carle Health Methodist in Peoria, Illinois.

Tracy was born on April 27, 1965, in Peoria, Illinois, to Linda (White) and Richard Bussell. He was a graduate of IVC High School, Class of 1983.

Tracy will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his children, Darien Bussell of Rome, Illinois, and Brook (Schyler) Seiss of Pekin, Illinois. He is also survived by his brother, Bryan (Cindy) Bussell of Pekin, and his sister, Danielle (Brian) Mullens of Bellevue.

He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, including Ryan (Katie) Bussell, Blake Bussell, William (Em) Mullens, Amiee (Corey) Dillingham, and Trinity Mullens, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sterling Bussell, Walker Mullens, Connor Lutes, Brooklyn Mullens, Adelyn Mullens, and Claylynn Dillingham.

Tracy is also survived by his uncles, Jim White, Rick White, and Terry White, along with several cousins and many others who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his nephew, Clayton Mullens; his grandparents, Lawrence and Kathryn White and Harold and Ruth Bussell; his aunts, Joy Smith and Janet Long; his uncles, LCP Larry F. White and Donald Bussell; and his cousin, David Bussell.

Tracy leaves behind a family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Though his life has come to an end, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on through his children, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In keeping with Tracy’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded by Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Tracy was also a donor through Gift of Life, giving the final gift of helping others even after his passing.

A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at:
