Wendy Lou Buxton

Glenn R. Buxton and Wendy Tjarks were married November 9, 1958 at the Methodist Church in Bartonville, IL. They resided in Bartonville their entire life. Wendy graduated from Limestone High School in 1955. She worked for the Bartonville bank for several years and left that position to raise her children. Wendy was a Chicago Cubs fan, an avid scrapbooker, reader, and loved creating ceramics.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Glenn Buxton, children: Vicki Buxton Frye and Michael (Sherri) Buxton, grandchildren: Sara (Pete) Grabel, Ricky Frye, Ryan (Margarita) Buxton, Bryan (Erin) Klokkenga, and Brittany Klokkenga, great grandchildren: Adelyn Klokkenga, Lillyn Klokkenga and Holly Frye

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Joyce Tjarks, Glenn's parents, Glenn and Mary Irene Buxton, Brother, Gary Tjarks and Granddaughter, Paige Buxton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 14th from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, with services at 10:30 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Graveside service held at Lutheran Cemetery to follow.
