

He was born November 8, 1961 in Peoria to William John and Carol Ann (Thompson) Burnside.
He is survived by the mother of his Children, Angela Burnside, his three children, Audrey Gossett of Washington, Corey Burnside of Decatur, and Courtney (Bryant Crouch) Burnside of Brimfield.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Haley, Owen, Sammy and Jack; six siblings, John "Bernie" Burnside of Bartonville, Scott Burnside of Bartonville, Jody (Jeremy) Weatherhead of TX, Cindy (Chris Kortemeier) Burnside, Lindy (Robo) Alexander, and Susie (Adam) Currie all of Bartonville; four nieces, one nephew, three great nieces, two great nephews, his dear friend of over 30 years, Rob Miller, and his beloved dogs, Puddles and Stormy.
Tony was working as a Count Room Supervisor with Par-A-Dice Casino, with 29 years of service at the time of his passing. He enjoyed watching all of the Chicago Sports teams, black and white movies, Aliens shows, spending time with his family, and telling everyone about his children and grandchildren. Known as "The Good Brother", Tony will be remembered for his ability to tell great stories that would make you laugh and someone that you could always count on. He was a man of simplicity, that found happiness in the little things in his life.
Cremation will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
