He was born Aug. 24, 1936 in Pottstown to William E. and Mildred M. (Zirkle) Johnson. They preceded him in death along with two sisters: Norma Mulvaney, Barb LaFollett, and one brother, Larry Johnson.
Survivors include nine brothers and sisters: Donald (Sally) Johnson of Norwood, Ben Johnson, Sharon Otto of Peoria, Kenny (Carol) Johnson, of Bartonville, Jim Johnson of Bellevue, Mike Johnson of Bellevue, Bobby (Kim) Johnson of Bartonville, Debbie (Bob) Closen of Bellevue, and Rick (Kelly) Johnson of Peoria.
Tinker was a United States Navy veteran. He was retired after working 40 years as a Dispatcher for ABF Freight in East Peoria.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
