He was born January 3, 1957 in Peoria, the son of Alvin and Erma White Mitchell.
William is survived by his sister, Judith (Douglas) Russell of Hanna City; two nieces, Michelle Small and Wendy Bruce; and three great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
There will be graveside services at a later date.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be given to Morton Villa.
