She was born on September 27, 1931 in Morton to Cleo and Dorothy (Lohmar) Steiner. She married Richard Knorr on June 18, 1949 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on September 5, 1990.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, two sisters; and two sons in law, William Birkey and Phillip Cameron.
Yvonne is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Birkey of Mapleton, Patricia Cameron of Deer Creek and Sandra (William) Graack of White Hall; one son, Richard (Sharon) Knorr II of Loveland, CO; grandchildren, Andrew (Brandon Gill) Birkey, Joseph Birkey , David (Michelle) Birkey, Mary (Dave) Breckenridge, Wendy (Jim) Haste, Corey (Mellissa) Cameron, Bonnie Cameron, Amy Jo Cameron, Christopher (Kelly) Simonsen, Jacob (Sandy) Simonsen, Joshua (Leigh) Knorr and Rachel Knorr; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Yvonne was a longtime member of Bay View Baptist Church. She loved quilting and needle working.
A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.
Private burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
