She was born on August 30, 1952, in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada, to Alice Anastasia Anderson and Alexander Joseph Macdonald. After graduating from Queen's University and St. Lawrence College (Kingston, Ontario Canada), Anne spent over 30 years working as an Interior Designer for companies like Bassett Furniture and La-Z-Boy, and also taught design at the University of Houston. She was also a certified Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker in Houston, Texas.
Anne was best known for her humorous life stories and her extensive knowledge on just about anything, if she didn't know the answer she was determined to find it. She enjoyed raising animals, gardening, and growing vegetables. She also loved writing and dreamed of one day writing and illustrating children's books.
Leaving behind to carry her legacy are her children, Erika Trapp and her husband Art Trapp, and Michael Morrison; her daughter-in-law Jana Hagarman; her grandchildren, Nicholas Trapp, Danielle Trapp and her fiancé, Phillip Cates, and Piper Hagarman; and one great-granddaughter, Ivy Grace Cates-Trapp.
She is also survived by her two sisters, Sandra Anne Gauthier and Miriam Anita Poole; her beloved nieces and nephews, April, James, Suzanne, Christianne, Sarah, Susanne, and Michael; and a host of extended family and close friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Katherine Mary Macdonald Allen.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to Pat Pion and the Ladies Lunch Bunch at Forest Park Country Club for welcoming her with open arms and for their loyal friendship.
In lieu of flowers, the family gracefully requests contributions toward funeral expenses, which can be sent via Paypal to Erika Trapp: http://bit.ly/4eN3pix
