Barry Lyndale Johnson

Barry was born on April 16, 1958 to Oscar Johnson, Jr. and Everleen Simmons Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Johnson and a brother, Oscar “Ozzie” Johnson. He was of the holiness faith.

Barry is survived by two sisters; Wanda Stuart and Deborah Waller (Curtis), four brothers; Bryan Johnson (Betty), Anthony Johnson (Janie), Kevin Johnson (Jackie) and Gregory Johnson, five aunts;

Ruby Pilson, Ida Lawrence, Minister Savannah Hairston, Minister Terri Dodson and Reverend Barbara Watkins. Numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens.
