Bettie Jane Stegall, 77, of Annandale, VA, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016. She was born on March 20, 1939 in Henry County, VA, to the late Joseph Alfred Stegall and Lottie Virginia Sawyers Stegall.
She is survived by her sisters; Margaret Ann Stegall of Fieldale, VA, Pat Stegall Hall and her husband, Wayne of Stanleytown, VA, Sallie Marie Stegall Minter and her husband, Jim of Danville, VA; one brother, Doug Stegall and his wife, Becky of Collinsville, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Stegall’s teaching career spanned for 47 years with the Fairfax County School System. She retired from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, VA.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Fairfax, VA
