Born on February 23, 1946, in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Robert W. Neal, Sr. and Amanda Carroll Neal.
She is survived by her son, James (Sonya) Stophel of Winchester, TN; grandson Andrew (Molly) Stophel of Smyrna, TN; great granddaughter Elizabeth Stophel; and brother, Charles Neal of Princeton, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Neal of Lakeland, FL, and her sister, Glenna Jean Alexander of Bristol, VA.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Henry Memorial Park, Bassett, VA for the family.
