I only had the pleasure of knowing DeeDee a little less than 4 years, but had come to think of her not only as a co-worker but also as a friend. It was always a pleasure to talk with her over the phone. I always thought of her as a "real" and genuine person with a great sense of humor.

I really thought she was going to make a full recovery, so it came as a shock to learn of her passing last Thursday afternoon. I feel such sadness for DeeDee's daughters and her family and close friends. I know she will be deeply missed but I hope it brings some measure of comfort in knowing she is healed and happy in Heaven. Her body is whole again and no longer plagued by any of the ailments she experienced here.

I pray your memories of this wonderful lady help to ease your grief.

DeeDee was loved by many, and will be missed by many. Patrick and Cassandra grew up with her. They will not be able to attend the home going, however, their prayers will be with the family and friends. Carver Road children were close  and she will be missed.
