Dennis Arthur Newman, age 54 of Collinsville, Virginia passed away on June 26, 2026 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Dennis was born on December 30, 1971 in Martinsville, Virginia to Elwood Newman and Lucille Cristine Arthur Newman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Saige Bowman. He was employed by Eastman Chemical in the Maintenance Department. He was of the Baptist Faith, he loved spending time with his family, practicing on the gun range, hunting and being outdoors.
Dennis is survived by Kimberly Newman, son, Justin Bowman, grandson, Phonix Bowman, granddaughter, Braylee Bowman, brother, Ricky Newman (Becky), Niece, Beth Terry(Tony) and great nephews, Peyton Roland and Austin Roland.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, Virginia.
