Dollie Mae Clay Tobler

She is survived by her daughter Wanda Tobler George of Georgetown, SC and her sister Dale Conner of Bassett and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded by her husband Jesse Tobler, and three brothers Jesse Will Clay, Dane Ramsey,Mitchell Ramsey, and her beloved son-in-law, Claude Harold George Jr, who passed away in January after helping take care of her for many years.

She retired after a happy 42 yrs., as supervisor, at Bassett-Walker in Martinsville. She enjoyed the outdoors, working in her yard, dining out, reading, playing games, and especially the beach. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh and have fun. She was a very witty and smart woman, yet so sweet and innocent and loved by so many. She never met a stranger. She loved enjoying life with her daughter, Wanda, and was the most protective and loving mother as they were best friends and was protected and taken care of by her daughter for the last 9 years.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Collins Funeral Home, Bassett.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville.
