In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cassady was predeceased by her sister, Sandra Graham.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Leon Cassady, daughters; Karen Shively and husband Richard, Pam Bowman and husband Randall, son; Steve Cassady and wife Sharon, grandchildren; Allison Cassady and Tyler Bowman, step-grandchildren; Richie Shively and Amanda Boettcher, step-great-grandchildren; Cameron Holloway, Raegan, Madalyn , and Peyton Shively, Lucas and Siena Boettcher, sisters; Eadie Moran and Linda Sellars.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel, Bassett, Virginia officiated by Pastor Adam Coombs. The family will receive friends at Collins Chapel one hour prior to the service.
