Mr. Elmer Lester Hall, Sr., age 94 of Bassett, VA., passed away on February 1, 2026. He was born on June 6,1931 in Patrick, VA. to Ray Hampton Hall and Lonzie Clark Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Gilley and a brother, William E. Hall.
Mr. Hall served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed many years by Dupont and after his retirement there, he operated Hall’s Repair Service. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Bassett, VA.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 68 Years, Margie Holcomb Hall, one daughter, Deborah Hall and one son, Elmer Lester Hall, Jr. and one sister, Dianne Wright.
A Graveside Service was held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Roselawn Burial Park with Rev. Dr. J.D. Harmon officiating.
