Though I only knew JP briefly, before he retired; he was one of the kindest and most pleasant persons I have ever known, the epitome of a true gentleman. The photo album has provided such a celebratory review of his life and soul; reaffirming my faith in God and man. Although he will be missed, JP was a blessing to everyone who knew him; and I pray that God comforts you all, providing reassurance you will one day be reunited in Heaven.

I would like to offer my personal condolences to the Barbour family for this loss. I am privileged to know JP's son, Stephen and his wife Venetia. They were so very kind during my recent loss of family. I believe the entire Barbour family was raised like Mr. JP. Know that he is now in paradise with God.
