We were all so saddened to learn of your loss. We all loved to chat with, "Mayor" Sonny about what was happening at The Reserve. He and his loyal companion, Stuart, were a pleasure to visit with and seemed so happy to see us. Sonny always greeted us with his gracious smile and easy going demeanor. We felt blessed to call him neighbor and friend. We will sorely miss his presence.
Our sincere condolences
to your family from his neighbors; Dan, Kathy

Dear Moore Family,

Wishing you all peace and comfort at this time of loss from Sonny's death. I was so taken by the quote from Dr. Suess at the conclusion of his obituary. Sonny obviously felt close to nature and to his God.

Sincerely, Carol Meyer (current member of Ridgeway United Methodist Church and friend of Sue.)

I could share a million memories- it’s hard to pick just a few. You impacted my life in so many ways. We went on a lot of adventures together and shared a lot of laughs and tears. There was always good music, food, and your fashion was always on-point. You will always be missed.

Dear Sonny,
Sixteen years ago God allowed our paths to cross and become Cabin neighbors with adjoining lots at The Reserve at Fairystone. What a wonderful friendship with you and your wife, Jo, developed. This friendship runs deep and will always be treasured by us and all our fantastic cabin friends.Thank you for all the wonderful time we spent on the cabin porches, sharing meals at the cabins and romping the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains . "Go Rest High on the Mountain" Sonny. You are and always will be missed.

Teddy and I really enjoyed spending time with you at the cabin. The lunches, dinners, talks and card games were always fun. The Reserve at Fairystone will not be the same without the “Mayor.” Rest In Peace, Sonny. You will be missed by all your cabin families.
