Joann Shelton

Joann Cox Shelton, age 88 of Martinsville, VA, passed away on September 24, 2022. Mrs. Shelton was born on July 21, 1934 in Martinsville, VA to Pinkey Cox and Estelle Doyle Cox. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Romney Shelton. She attended Fountaine Baptist Church. She retired as a Hostess at the Dutch Inn. Mrs. Shelton is survived by one daughter, Ann Creel Hairston, one son, Morris Creel and wife, Joyce, one granddaughter, Desiree Hairston and two great grandchildren; Tanaisa Walker and Kevion Thomas.
