Karen was born on February 1, 1969 I Henry County, VA to the late Ralph Ernest Gunter and Catherine Lopez Gunter, who survives. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters; Amy Lawson and Sara Seay, one son, Matthew Gunter, sister, Maria Ayers (James), grandchildren; Bayleigh Robinette, Adrian Sink and Libby Sink, nieces, Jennifer Jones and Hannah Kassebaum.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
