Levie Hopkins Holland

Levie Virginia Hopkins Holland, age 81 formerly of the Sanville community, died Sunday, January 25, 2015, at the Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN. Born in Rockingham County, NC, June 8, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Charlie H. Hopkins and Della Mae Holt Hopkins. Also preceding her in death were sisters Elma Stout, Katherine Wiggington, Aileen Davis and Linda Hines, and her brothers Jesse Hopkins, Ernest Hopkins, Troy Hopkins and Clarence Hopkins. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Ann Holland of Clarksville, TN, five sons Gerald David Holland of Poquoson, and Roger Dale Holland, Jimmy Wayne Holland, Dennis Allen Holland, and Curtis Eugene Holland all of Dover, TN, a sister Mildred Kennedy of Hampton, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Blackberry Baptist Church with her great-nephew Josh Purdy officiating. Interment will follow in Old Center Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M.
