Linda Clark Cheek, 66, of Penhook, Va., passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. She was born on February 6, 1950 in Martinsburg, W.Va. to Esther Roadcap Clark and the late James W. Clark. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Baxter Cheek and her sister, Judy Clark Stone.
In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by her sons, Brady Cooper and his wife, Karen of Figsboro, Va, and Kevin Cooper and his wife, Ginger of Greensboro, N.C.; sister, Sandy Woodall-Jordan and her husband, James Jordan of Bassett, Va.; brother, Tim Clark and his wife, Cindy of Bassett, Va.; and two granddaughters, Eliza and Olivia.
The funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett, Va. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. A private burial will follow at Mount Hermon Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
