Marie Pritchett Turner

Marie Pritchett Turner, 86 of Martinsville, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. Mrs. Turner was born on September 2, 1932 in Henry County, a daughter of the late Linwood Pritchett and the late Lizzie Carter Pritchett. She was married to Otis James Turner, who predeceased her. She was a member of Church at Mercy Crossing. She was employed by the Nelson Automotive Group for many years until her retirement. Mrs. Turner is survived by two daughters, Josephine Pilson (Mark), Joyce Marie Turner, three sons, Otis James Turner, Jr. (Kimberely), Michael Turner (Wanda Gail), Omar Turner, two sisters, Cassie Carter, Martha Lynch (Clarence), one brother, Marvin Pritchett (Patricia). She was predeceased by four children, Peggy Schoefield, Loretta Barley, Phyllis Ann Turner, Kenneth Wayne Turner, three sisters, Dorothy Turner, Shirley Wade, Mildred Moore, three brothers, Willie, William and George Pritchett. She is also survived by twenty three grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Church at Mercy Crossing with Pastor Jackie Poe and Pastor Jimmy Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
