

Mathew Ryan Turner, age 24, of 211 Egg Farm Rd., Patrick Springs, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, December 23, 2010, in Pioneer Community Hospital, Stuart. Born in Anchorage, Alaska, September 8, 1986, he was the son of Richard Leonard (Len) Turner and Suzanne Mays Turner of the home. Mathew was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Nesco (Papa) Turner. He attended Patrick Henry Community College, was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville, the Piedmont Coin Club, and he was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, New York Yankees, Duke Blue Devils, and Florida Gators. Also surviving is his sister, Carri Turner of the home, maternal grandparents, Bill and Temple Mays of Collinsville, paternal grandparents, Judy and Kenneth Barbour of Patrick Springs, uncles and aunts, Bart and Tonya Mays of Mooresville, NC, William and Deborah Mays of Collinsville, Lane and Debbie Turner of Bradenton, FL, and five cousins, Jacob, Jaxon, and Brooklynn Mays, Austin Mason, and Samantha Rich. The memorial service will be held at 6 P.M. Monday, December 27, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Collinsville with the Rev. Larry Cheek and the Rev. Glen Voss officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church, and at other times at their home, 211 Egg Farm Rd., Patrick Springs, and at the home of Bill and Temple Mays, 113 Woodshire Rd., Collinsville.
