Aunt Maxine, I will always remember you as a strong lady who was devoted to family, friends and loved ones. I remember your love for kids especially. I remember your strong devotion to family especially Grandma Mulkey and your siblings and of course your immediate family. You were always kind to me and finished every conversation with: " I love you." I loved your sense of humor, integrity and the good example you set for all. And your "sweet tea" :) I know you are in God's Heavenly Home with your loved Ones. Thank you dear Aunt for setting a good example of humanity for me and everyone you touched. Love you! Tammy

All these wonderful photos bring to life what each of us hopefully knows about each other: We all have experiences and memories and stories that have enriched our lives and the lives of those around us. As a hospice chaplain, I was privileged to visit Maxine and get just a taste of her wonderful life, knowing all the while there was much more underneath.

May you smile and remember even as you mourn her absence, knowing that we shall all meet again in our Father's kingdom.

Auntie Maxine you will be missed. All of our vacations that our families took together will always be remembered, and we always lived closed together. You would always took us kids to school when it was raining. Love always, Barbara Sue and Lance O'Dell and Abbi
