My memory of Mike was always one of kindness and always a gentleman. In high school we attended a prom together as friends. He was very shy, a gentleman and fun. God bless his family in this most difficult time. I know he is truly a man with God.🙏

I first came to know Mike because I had the honor of teaching both of Erin and Mark in kindergarten. They both have his quiet gentle spirit.

Years later Mike became a regular at the Collinsville YMCA . Each time I saw him , it was a time when he would bring me up to date concerning his family’s growth and activities. Through his words I always felt a connection with the family. Mike had a winning smile and every one at the YMCA loved him. He was so proud of his kids and Tammy .

I remember when he told me Tammy got a job at PH because he was so excited for her!

Mike and Mark were always at the Smith River Fest, entering the boat race. I could tell that they really enjoyed their time together, especially as they paddled away from me!

My heart is broken for you all. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Love,
Ashby
