Carolyn, Paul, Steve and extended family -

I'm so sorry to hear about Mae's passing and I understand the complete heartbreak. I know how much she was loved and how deeply she will be missed. The picture of her and 'G' is precious as I have seen it in some of Mamaw's old pictures when I was a teenager. I know the memories will forever be flooding your days now. So many incredible people came from their era and they can never be replaced in our hearts or lives. I know dad always spoke of how much he loved Mae's cooked brown beans and he would often stop by their home in West Virginia to eat with them when he worked for B.F. Goodrich. Mom always told the story of how 'G' was teasing her one day and she threw a small hammer at him to get him to stop, but 'G' ducked and it hit Mae. It didn't hurt Mae, but it scared mom half to death and she decided then that throwing hammers might not be a good idea. So many memories to keep alive. Never stop talking about 'G' & Mae so they will always be with us. May the Angels lead her into Paradise and may she rest in peace, untied with her beloved 'G' and other family members once more.
