Peggy Laprade Robertson

Peggy Ann LaPrade Robertson, 74, of 50 Old Preston Road in Martinsville, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Rocky Mount, VA on September 30, 1936 to Joseph Cephus LaPrade and Golden Edith LaPrade Campbell. She retired from Sara Lee Knitting and was a member of Fellowship at The Foothills in Patrick County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dudley Franklin Robertson and a brother, John Henry LaPrade.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wilbert Franklin Robertson of the residence; two daughters, Mary Jane Altizer of Critz and Debra Ann Coleman of Stuart; one son, Harry Joseph Robertson of Spencer and four grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Monday, June 27, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Fellowship at The Foothills (formerly Harvest Worship Center), 21225 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Stuart, VA, with Pastor David Coleman and Rev. Buster Mize officiating.

The family will receive friends there at the church beginning at 6:30 prior to the funeral service.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville.
