Joe and Tracy never failed to ask about mom when I would go into Meadow Green store when she was declining in health. He always was helpful and very nice to the customers at all times. The community lost a kind person. He will be missed in Oak Level.

Kevin and family,
So sorry for the loss of Joe. After joining the Collinsville Vol. Fire Dept. 30 odd years ago Joe became my
mentor and a good friend. He is to be commended for his un-selfish service to his community and know that he
will certainly be missed.

Kevin and family, we remember working at DuPont with Joe and have many wonderful memories of your family. I especially cherish the vacations we took together when you were just a small child. Joe always had that smile when he saw us and always was ready to tease us with some ridiculous story or saying. We loved him so and will surely miss him. Prayers for all!

It has been my great pleasure to have worked with Joe over the years.
He was always there when I needed his assistance with County issues.
We also enjoyed just talking about the good old days when we had a chance.
My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of loss.

I worked for Joe at his & Tracy's store. Joe was such an amazing friend & would always help someone if they needed it. He had so much life & I'm going to miss his so dearly. He has taken me home from work in the snow, or when my car didn't work. He has a wonderful soul.

My deepest sympathy to the Miles family and especially to Kevin. It seems like just yesterday that I arrived at the dupont Martinsville plant and met Joe and Martha and later young Kevin. They were all my friends, hard workers, and very loyal to our company. Joe was always one of the first to arrive at my weekly staff meetings and always prouding explaining everything happening in his powerhouse. He was also occasionally a big pain in the neck when things didn't go well. He used to tell me how proud he was of Kevin and it really showed when Kevin got married. May he rest in peace and may God continue to look fondly on Kevin. Best wishes to all you ex-duPonters in the Martinsville area. I miss you all. John & Jean Winske

Joe was a true friend and will be missed. I worked with him for 25 years as a contract electrical designer and then for 12 more years while employed by Koch Business Solutions. Joe always treated me with the greatest respect and was always there if I needed to talk. I have missed seeing him since I left the site and was retired. My deepest sympathy goes out to his entire family.
Peace my friend!
