Robert Frank Hopkins

Born in Ridgeway, April 10, 1937, he was a son of the late Benton Hopkins and Mary Soloman Hopkins who survives of Ridgeway. Frank was the retired owner of H & K Meat Market.

In addition to his Mother, he is survived by his wife, Irene King Hopkins, two daughters, Sharon Hopkins Waskiewicz and her husband Stan of Mechanicsville, Patricia Hopkins Rodenas and her husband Dan of Chesapeake, a son, Paul Hopkins and his wife Cameron of Portsmouth, a sister, Vera Hopkins Thacker and her husband Walter of Ridgeway, a brother, Thomas Hopkins of Ridgeway, and seven grandchildren, Chris, Nick and Stephen Waskiewicz, Lencee, Caylee and Gregory Hopkins, and Jared Rodenas.

The funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Collins Funeral Home, Bassett, with the Rev. David King officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. prior to the service.
