Roy was born on February 5, 1941 in Bassett, VA to Howard L. Edmonds and Ila Fulk Edmonds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Pilson and brothers, Richard Edmonds, Ray Edmonds and Charles Edmonds.
Roy was retired from Bowman’s Electronics where he was a technician for many years. He was a high school graduate and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a great Papa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Roy is survived by his special friend of 45 years, Jeanne Hinchee, sisters, Lucy Stone and Betty Leonard, sister-in-law, Mona Edmonds. He is also survived by his fur babies whom he loved dearly, Leo and Rascal.
Roy had requested no services to be held.
