Susan Beth Arnold

Susan “Beth” Arnold, age 51, of Norfolk, Virginia died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Danville Regional Medical Center of Danville, Virginia. She was born December 6, 1958 in Martinsville to Bennie L. Arnold and Betty H. Arnold. Ms. Arnold graduated from Fieldale Collinsville High School in 1977 as valedictorian and Randolph Macon College in 1981 with honors. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Norfolk. Ms. Arnold was employed at Olive Grove Baptist Church in Norfolk as a creative assistant. She was preceded in death by her father, Bennie L. Arnold; paternal grandparents, Edgar D. and Susie B. Arnold and maternal grandfather, Henry J. Stephenson. She is survived by her mother, Betty H. Arnold of Fieldale; sister, Annette A. Willis of Roanoke, Virginia; brother, Bret L. Arnold of Madison, North Carolina and grandmother, Margaret H. Stephenson of Fieldale. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at her mother’s home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 4, 2010 at Fieldale Baptist Church with Reverend Frank Gribble officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
