I've had the pleasure of knowing Ms Susan for a number of years from when I worked at Kelly Rentals. She was a wonderful, wonderful lady, and I know that Heaven's gain is truly our world's loss. She always had a kind word, and gave the best hugs ever. I just found out today, I am so sorry, I will be praying for peace and comfort for the family, as I know you are all hurting.

Seating here heavy hearted thinking of the fun times we had together. Susan was a kind and loving person more than a friend she showed love like she was my mother. I'll always love and miss until we meet again. God bless you . To her family heaven will never be the same. There's a true 👼 there with my dad.

I was saddened to hear about the loss of our dear friend Mrs. Susan Hairston. I grew up in the Carver community with her children. We were all very close. She was like a mother to me and my siblings. Always had positive things to say and would make you laugh. She was such a sweet person and will be dearly missed. On behalf of the Motley family and the Grace Chapel Ministries Church family I would like to say to the Hairston & Penn families, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Losing someone we love is never easy, but we must be thankful for the beautiful moments and memories we shared with them. Your mother was a beautiful and kind soul, and she will not be forgotten.

Mrs. Susan P. Hairston was a very classy and stylish lady. She had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. She was like a magnet, and knew how to draw people. She was very charismatic. I considered her to be a friend. I enjoyed our talks and laughs.
To Dyrll, Wanda, Rachel, LaVair and Keisha, please know that I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your mom has received her healing. She is free from sickness and pain. What a blessing! She loved you dearly. Take care, and I will forever cherish the good times we shared. I hope to see you soon!
Love each of you,
