Wanda Gentry McGhee

Wanda Gentry McGhee, age 62, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away on Tuesday August 14, 2018. Wanda was born July 15, 1956 to Eli Gentry and the late Odessa Hairston Gentry. Wanda was a dedicated member of Mount Carmel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Madison, N.C. where she proudly served as secretary of the ministry, she was vice secretary of The Greater International Pentecostal Holiness Church, Inc. and a devoted choir member. In her free time, Wanda enjoyed knitting and designing cards for her scrapbook. Wanda is survived by her father, Eli Gentry; stepmother, Annie Mae Gentry; her loving husband of 45 years, Issac Dane McGhee; god daughter, Brittney McGhee; and god son, Justin McGhee; brother, Sidney Gentry (Sandra Gentry); stepbrother, Herman Wallace Via; niece, Andrea Gentry; nephew, Clay Gentry; and numerous aunts, cousins and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Greater International Pentecostal Holiness Assembly Building. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at the Assembly Building at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Carver Memorial Gardens.
