William Clifton Stone

He was born February 27, 1943 in Henry County, Virginia to the late Harry W. and Virginia Clifton Stone. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Stone.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Gwen Stone, daughters, Ginger S. Wagoner and Ronnie of Martinsville, Anne S. Ruark and special friend, John Fields, of Oshkosh, WI, son, J. Reid Stone and fiancé, Alice Williams of Atlanta, stepson, Derek Eanes of Collinsville, sister, Peggy J. Stone of Martinsville, sister-in-law Martha Stone of Bristol, VA, brothers, Harry V. Stone and wife, Susan, of Surfside Beach, SC, Elly R. Stone and wife, Wendy of Ridgeway, grandchildren, Haley Hubbard, Macy and Landon Wagoner, all of Martinsville, Ben and Lauren Stone of Atlanta, Kathryn,Wesley and Jillian Ruark of Oshkosh, WI, and Hannah Eanes of Collinsville.

The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Horsepasture Christian Church, with Rev. Dave Cuthbertson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. at the church on Thursday, August 6, 2015. A private burial will follow at a later date.
