She lived all her life in Bastrop but spent most of it working for the State in Austin. Denise worked for the General Land Office at the time of her death.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Hancock Knight and husband Larry Dean Knight, Jr., two grandchildren, Scarlett Lynn and Corbin Walker Knight, brother Lane Robinson and wife Cheryl, sister Debra Robinson French and husband Dorwin, all from Bastrop; one niece and three nephews.
Services will be August 18 at the Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home with burial following at High Grove Cemetery in High Grove.
