Edison is survived by his wife Doris, three sons, Wayne Stringer, Edison Stringer, Jr. and his wife Mary, and Gary Stringer and his wife Chris, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many extended family members.
Visitation was Monday, October 11, 2010 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. Funeral Services took place October 12, 2010 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home.
