Eula Elaine Murphy

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Louis Murphy and sister, Norma Jane Moore.

Elaine is survived by her children, John Murphy and wife Sharon, Gayla Hoffman and husband Charlie, Wayne Murphy and wife Debbie, 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Elaine loved cooking and doing for others. In the last few years she had a fondness for watching cooking shows. She loved to tell people about Jesus. She was very generous and always willing to help those in need.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice Foundation of Austin or the charity of your choice in loving memory of Eula Elaine Murphy.

Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop Texas. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest following the services at 1pm at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Park in Austin, Texas.
