James Michael Schuelke

James is survived by his mother, Miriam Schuelke of Bastrop, sister, Sharon Franke of Paige, nephews Keith Kessel of Pflugerville, Brian Hodges of Austin, and nieces Krista Anderson of Pflugerville, and Kara Solomon of Leander. He was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell (Mike) A. Schuelke.

James was born on November 24, 1952 in Bastrop, Texas to Mitchell and Miriam Schuelke. He attended public schools, graduating from Bastrop High School in 1971. He attended Southwest Texas State University and enlisted in the Army National Guard of Texas in 1972 and was discharged in 1978. He spent many years working in the surveying industry.

A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Marrs-JonesNewby Funeral Home in Bastrop, TX, with visitation at noon and service starting at 2 pm.
