Aunt Margie was strong, beautiful, smart fun and fierce woman who made each of us feel like the most special person. If I ever mentioned anything that wasn't going right, I could count on her being on my side before I even got any of the details out. I loved that so much. Rick loved bantering with her -- he was always so happy to know she was going to be at a picnic or some other family event because he knew she'd make it fun. ('She was always up for anything,' Rick said).  Aunt Margie would just shine, and she made all of us shine, too. I know how much you all will miss her and I know that you know she loved you more than anything. When I visited her, she said she felt very calm and at peace about herself, and she was glad to feel that way. Her one concern was that her family would be okay. I know she is still looking out for all of you in a special way. And I still feel like she's on my side, whatever comes. Love you --

Eugene,Melanie,Melissa &family..we were saddened to hear about the passing of Margie.she was a sweet lady and we know she will be dearly missed.We were unable to make the services,but you all were in our thoughts and prayers.Margie was my mom's cousin(Georgia-Rehak-Ludwig)and the only times I have gotten a chance to see her was at the Rabel-Tupa reunions.As we all grow older and each take our personal journeys  in life ,we loose touch of family,but we do have memories . May she rest in peace

Melissa and Melanie I can still remember all the great times we had at your house and the wonderful brownies and cookies your mother would bake for us for snakes over the summer or sleep overs at your house. Who could forget the best treat bags at Halloween all the kids that lived close by knew they had to get to the Pavlas house early. The Thoene family is sending prayers and love to all of you.

I am so sorry to hear of Margie's passing.  I worked with Margie at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Austin for many years. Margie made me feel welcomed form day one. She was a lovely and sweet lady with a very generous heart.  Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Truly sad to hear of Margie's passing. May God comfort you all during this time. Seems like yesterday we all worked at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Austin.

I send my heartfelt condolences to Margie's family. We were friends when we were teenagers. My prayers and thought are with you all.

I guess I cannot believe that I am writing you a message under these circumstances considering I just talked to you last Friday. You have always been my favorite Aunt even though when I was little you made me cry when I saw you. I never knew what kind of trick was up your sleeve for that day but in the long run it made me a stronger person. It had to or else I would have just been a cry baby. Not talking to you or e-mailing you at least once a week is going to be the hardiest thing for me to cope with. I know though now you have no more pain and your are enjoying the benefits of your good life. I know Grandpa and Grandma are happy to see you. I will never forget not even for one second.
