Margie Laine Young

Margie Laine Young (Mowell) was born on November 30th 1936 in Rule, Texas to the late John Noble Mowell and Dana June Perry. The Family moved to Lamesa where Margie was raised along with two younger sisters, Joann Barr and Cheryl Tarpley both of whom have preceded her in death. While in High School, Margie met the love of her life, Shirley Jurd Young, the two married in Lamesa, Texas on July 15, 1954 and just last summer celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The family settled in Midland and raised two children, Tamara Beaman (Bill) of Woodland, Washington and John Young (Sandra) of Bastrop, Texas. Margie is survived by husband Shirley, Tamara and John, six Grandchildren, Michael, Victoria, Christopher, Matthew, Dustin, Dan and two Great Grandchildren, Isaiah and Casen. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am Friday, March 27, 2015 at Fairmont Park Church of Christ, 3813 N Midland Drive Midland, Texas.
