

Her passion in life was teaching others about Jesus. Mary Ruth studied the bible and Hebrew. She enjoyed sharing her passion and led bible studies for years. Her legacy is faith and all the people she helped to find it.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Norma Sims.
Mary Ruth is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ronald Humphrey; children, Devon Humphrey and his wife Bonnie, Blair Humphrey, Rhett Humphrey and his wife Sharon; grandchildren, Melissa Urso and her husband Shea, Matthew Humphrey and his wifeTiffany, Joshua Humphrey, Kelly Rodriguez and his wife Allie, Andrew Humphrey, Bradley Humphrey, Dillon Humphrey, Jacob Humphrey, Samantha Humphrey, Stephanie Humphrey; great-granddaughters, Kayelyn Humphrey, Keelie Humphrey and Eliana Rodriguez
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bastrop Christian Outreach Center, the Salvation Army or the MD Anderson Cancer Research Center in loving memory of Mary Ruth Humphrey.
A Celebration of Mary Ruth’s life will be 2:30 Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Bastrop Christian Outreach Center in Bastrop, Texas.
