Pedro Vega-Cabrera, age 70, of Bastrop passed away Tuesday, December 17 in Austin, Texas. Services for Mr. Vega-Cabrera are scheduled for 12:00 pm Friday, December 20, at Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Pedro was born April 27, 1943 to Francisco Vega and Francisco Cabrera in Mexico. He married Rufina Torres and was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, seven sons, Carlos, Francisco, Cresencio, Pedro, Jr., Jesus, Jose, and Alberto Antonio Vega and seven daughters, Cresencia, Paula, Rosario, Christina, Jasmin, and Laura Vega, and Maria DelCarmen.
