Travis A Traugott

Travis Andrew Traugott was born on September 9, 1936 to Frank Andrew Traugott and Noma Lessie Brown-Traugott, all of Austin, Texas. He was a truck driver for many years, and owned Mobile Way Homes (later known as TNT Mobile Homes).

He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Noma Traugott; brothers, Ernest “Buck” Erskes, Frank “Kit” and Arvin Ray “Dudie” Traugott; sisters, Katherine Bruce, Myrtle Stailey, and grandson, Lee Mc Cutcheon.

Travis is survived by his wife, Dorothy Powell-Traugott; sister Mary Rose Traugott-Rumfield; daughters, Sherry McCutcheon, Terry Traugott, and Denise Traugott-Hartwick; sons, Travis “Chip” and Gary Traugott. Stepchildren: Gene and Allen Naven, Jeffrey Powell, and Brenda Powell-Heckman; 22 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Visitation will begin at High Noon on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm Saturday at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home.
