My prayers go out to your family. Walter and I go way back to our schools days. He was my football team mate. My everyday friend, even when he joined the Air Force and was stationed in California. He came and stayed with me and Albert on the weekends. We had lots of fun together. Rest in Peace Walter Reed.

Praying for the Reed Family, R.I.P Walter

I met Walter when I use to visit my cousin Julius "Big Man":Thomas in Bastrop. He use to give Big Man and I the greatest flat top haircuts for $0.25. When I later attended Emile High School Walter and I played football together.  He and I was friends and later he enlisted in the Military and I lost track of him until he returned to Bastrop, TX. When I lived in Virginia and visited Bastrop I would visit him and Sandra and caught up on what had happened in both of our lives. He will truly be missed by family and friends. I offer my condolences to your family for peace and comfort during your mourning. May God Bless your family.

Walter and all the Reed Family have been like my family for years. My Mom went to school with his sister Sadie Lee, my cousin went to school with another sister, Hattie Mae and I went to school with his brothers Joel and James. Our families have interacted for generations. It is indeed a sad time for us in losing him. Our prayers are sent out to his wife Sandra Sue and all the children as well as his brothers and sisters. May God continue to watch over the Reed family especially in this time of bereavement. I know that with all the other things in your life that this is stressful, but keep your faith and God will provide. Love you all. May Walter rest in eternal peace.
